August Muse opened the retail store in 2022. The owner, Paula Augustine, wanted to create an environment promoting the arts and culture of East Tennessee. This local downtown retail business is a fusion of the arts supporting dance, music, art, theater, and more. Inside you will find an art gallery, unique items from local makers, instrumental music supplies, dance wear, and so much more. August Muse connects these rich Arts traditions with the local community while finding ways to support the and empower the Arts in our corner of Northeast Tennessee.
Located in the heart of downtown Elizabethton, Hellbender Outfitters is a high adventure, new and used, outdoor gear store. We focus on backpacking/camping, kayaking/SUP, fly fishing, clothing, snowboarding/skiing, hiking and disc golf. We also offer you the opportunity to buy and sell high quality gear within these categories.
