Business Retention Program
This program made possible by funding from a Digital Skills, Education, and Workforce Development Grant (DSEW)
Monthly Workshops
Free workshops covering topics such as permits, insurance, taxes, and marketing. A focus is placed on creating strategic plans for each.
Networking Groups
Targeted towards a businesses specific needs, networking groups provide a way for like-minded individuals to connect in their industries. Provided each month following the Northeast Community Credit Union business networking program at the chamber office.
Strategic Planning
Creation of a strategic plan for 90 days before business opening as well as check points for first 60/90/120 days open. Small Business Administration materials are provided from our partnership with TSBDC.

Strategic planning sessions and budgeting workshops for nonprofits to assess their business needs and build a plan for future operations.
Board Leadership Training
Upcoming training will include information for incoming board members and how they can be effective for their nonprofits.
Fundraising and Donor Fatigue
Workshops for any nonprofit that serves Carter County and needs assistance with making a strategic fundraising plan. 228 nonprofits in Carter County are each fundraising and asking for sponsorship, so a proper approach to planning is neccesary to reach their goals.
Chamber LIFE
Young Adult Workshops
Prroviding the knowledge young adults need to succesfully navigate topics such as workplace etiquite, housing, and how to create a liveable budget for daily expenses.
Meeting the Experts
During this session, young adults will have the opportunity to meet with experts on topics inluded in our young adult workshops.
Leadership Connection
Leaders in our region connect with our young adults and provide insight into the workshop topics and how they effect our community.
