The Adult Leadership Program
Experience a behind-the-scenes look at how our city and county work while we introduce the leaders that make everything happen. We will learn about the unique businesses, areas, and activities that make Carter County a great place to live, work, and visit.
Each day will focus on a specific topic such as Industry, Healthcare, Tourism, Community, History, and Education. With a variety of locations and speakers, participants will gain a greater understanding of our area’s story.
Enhance your professional relationships in the community as we learn more about other businesses and make new connections.
The Adult Leadership program meets one Friday each month, beginning August 14, 2026, and continuing through April 2027. The program does not meet in November or December to allow for the holiday season.

You will be asked to submit information about yourself as well as answer the question “What is your favorite thing to do in Carter County? Also tell us about yourself and what you’re most interested in learning about during this program.”
