Bridge to Shore Recovery provides a path for women in recovery to heal, rebuild self-esteem, and repair relationships through connecting them to 12 step recovery, partnered resources, and housing. Bridge to Shore Recovery believes that every women deserves the opportunity to be lifted up and provided resources to help achieve long term recovery.

Dawn of Hope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit community organization in Northeast Tennessee dedicated to providing person-centered supports to help people pursue the life they desire including community involvement and integrated work opportunities.

Doe River Gorge is a place where kids of all ages can experience one of the best times of their lives while creating unforgettable memories! It is three miles of pristine wilderness packed with spectacular scenery, fascinating history, exhilarating adventures, premier accommodations, and fun-loving staff. It is a place where young people can build lifelong friendships, develop new skills, and get to know the God who created it all.

East Tennessee Christian Home and Academy is a ministry dedicated to “Growing Girls God’s Way.”

We exist to provide a Christ-centered ministry to help at-risk adolescent girls and their families in need of respite and/or reprieve.

ETCHA offers hope by giving a safe home with kindhearted, Christian house parents and staff; through nationally recognized biblically-based academics; and through learning about what Christ can bring to life! ETCHA receives no state funding and depends on gifts from generous donors to make the ministry successful.

Elizabethton Carter County Community Foundation (ECCF) is an affiliate of East Tennessee Foundation.  ECCF is an excellent charitable vehicle for donors who wish to contribute to the legacy of Elizabethton Carter County, both now and in the future.  ECCF provides endowment options which result in grants for local projects, programs, and organizations.  ECCF operates via a local advisory board of community volunteers who decide when, where, and how to accomplish impact in and for Elizabethton/Carter County.

The Elizabethton Elks Lodge is a private membership, non-profit that exist to benefit veterans, children and our community.

Elizabethton Housing & Develop. Agency

The Elizabethton Housing and Development Agency is a federal subsidized, non-profit corporation governed by Federal and State law under the directions of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). A cooperation agreement with the City of Elizabethton establishes a governing body existing of five Commissioners appointed by the Mayor to serve a five year term. The EHDA provides structurally sound, safe housing, to low and moderate income families through the Public Housing, Section Eight Voucher, and Section Eight Moderate Rehab programs.

Kiwanis Club of Elizabethton is an organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Our members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged and care for the sick. We develop young leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research and more. No problem is too big or too small. Working together, our members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When a child is given the chance to learn, dream and succeed, great things happen!
