I’m April, classroom teacher turned full-time photographer. It all started when as a young girl I was intrigued by what my stepmother could produce with a camera & a darkroom. As I got older & had my own family, I wanted to be able to capture all those special moments in images. I immediately fell in love & there was no turning back!

I’ve been a wedding and family photographer for the past 10 years. I have shot over 200 weddings as an associate or main photographer & too many families (and special memories in between) to count! In that time I’ve learned & grown so much. My style has evolved as I have been mentored. I’ve jumped head first into workshops across the country furthering my education while gaining tips, tricks, & advice. I’ve been blessed to learn from some of the best photographers in my area & across the nation!
