Bridge to Shore Recovery, a women’s recovery program, will host a ribbon cutting and open house event for their “Iris House” on Tuesday, January 10th from 2-4PM. Light refreshments will be provided and guests will be able to tour the home. The home is located at 509 Allen Ave. in Elizabethton.
“Our program was created by women in recovery for women seeking recovery. Bridge to Shore provides housing, referral to evidence-based treatment and community resources and case management to meet the needs of women new to recovery from substance use disorder,” said Tia Hughes, Executive Director
“We are so fortunate to have Bridge to Shore in Carter County to provide a safe resource for women in recovery. Having the tools and treatment available to get back on track is key in the journey of recovery,” said Joy McCray, Executive Director of Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce.
