Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park and The Friends of Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park are pleased to announce auditions for Liberty! The Saga of Sycamore Shoals for the 2021 Season. This year we have been fortunate enough to have in our budget a small stipend to offer to our performers.
Auditions will take place on Saturday February 27th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and Sunday February 28th from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Call-backs will take place on Sunday February 28th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. as required.
Auditions will be held in the Visitor’s Center for Sycamore Shoals State Park in The Gathering Room. This year’s auditions will be conducted a little differently with audition groups held to a maximum of 10 people. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic masks and social distancing are required. If there are multiple people in the same family, please schedule each person’s audition slot individually. If you wish to be an extra (non speaking role) just drop by Sycamore Shoals State Park on February 27th or 28th and fill out a registration form.

2021 will mark the 42nd year of Liberty! Performances were canceled in 2020 because of park closures due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Liberty! the Saga of Sycamore Shoals is the Official Outdoor Drama of The State of Tennessee.
The performances will take place in June. Rehearsals begin on Tuesday March 23rd and will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some additional rehearsals the final weeks of rehearsal.
The Performance Schedule is:
Week 1: Friday June 4th and Saturday June 5th
Week 2: Friday June 11th and Saturday June 12th
Week 3: Thursday June 17th, Friday June 18th, and Saturday June 19th
Week 4: Thursday June 24th, Friday June 25th, and Saturday June 26th
